My name is Andrea. I am a 32 year old wife, mother, homeschooler, and someday homesteader.

I live in an amazing mountain community that is a snapshot of what community used to be. I love where I live and what it has done for my family.

This site is devoted to celebrating the hope and happiness in homemaking…and the days when you don’t feel much like celebrating as well.

I believe in enjoying my children, honoring my husband, living a frugal, resourceful living, eating real, whole foods, being as self sufficient as possible and above all, seeking God’s guidance in it all.

I also believe that sometimes, life calls for wine. There are days when you just need a nap, and occasionally, the dishes need to just be left in the sink.
